Thief Winos continued our undefeated season with a hard-fought 14-12 slugfest over the defending champs Blatz Bombers tonight. This one meant a lot, as Tim from the Blatz Bombers works for the MPM (as does Paul, but he’s on the DL with a dislocated shoulder from a game a few weeks ago), so bragging rights were at stake. WInd was blowing out initially and the runs were flowing; we were up 11-10 at the three inning stretch. After the (beer) break we both settled down and we were up 14-10 going into the bottom of the 6th. We let up two runs but were able to hold on. As said before, this is far too much fun!
