As we're (hopefully!) transitioning out of winter, it's still Zinfandel weather. This full-bodied wine is rich, hearty, and perfect for for the chilly temperatures. Please join us on Thursday, March to meet and taste wine with L.J. Brimfield, winemaker of the new 60 Souls winery in Willamette Valley Oregon. Formerly of the renowned Evening Land winery, L.J. split off to focus on his own project with the goal of crafting a high-quality Pinot Noir at an exceptionally reasonable price. And in addition to his own wine, we'll also be pouring a few wines from that supplier's portfolio. It'll be a fun tasting! The wines will be:

Of course you want some delicious Merlot! Smooth, full of lush plum and berry fruit, what's not to like? Oh, the sea of bad Merlot out there - thin, simple, possibly slightly weedy - right. Don't let the bad wines ruin it for the others, though; when done well Merlot can be absolutely delicious. For this tasting we'll taste through several examples (both Merlot-based and 100% Merlot) from around the world. Go against the grain - drink Merlot! Wines TBD.

Thief Wine's Spring Grand Tasting - Saturday, April 29 (MPM)
Thief Wine is thrilled to present our annual Spring Grand Tasting, a fantastic walk-around tasting featuring more than 120 delicious and distinctive fine wines from around the world, on Saturday, April 29. All wines will be selected by Thief Wine and reflect our focus of artisanal, high-value, terroir-driven selections (i.e., not the mass-production wines you see at most large wine tastings), with retail prices ranging from $15-$50 per bottle. Live music, light appetizers, and your own Riedel wine glass to keep are included!
There are two ticket levels, and both are all-inclusive - once you get a glass, you're welcome to sample whatever you'd like. Tickets are now on sale - get yours today!
General Admission ($65, tax included) includes admission from 5:15 - 7:30 p.m., with the chance to sample and enjoy the 120+ wines, grouped among roughly 16 tables. Tickets are limited to 125. It's pretty awesome.
Reserve Level ($95, tax included) includes earlier access to the event, with entry at 3:30 p.m., a more intimate experience (tickets are limited to 75), and 15+ additional, higher-end wines - in addition to the wines that will be poured throughout the entire event, each pouring station will have an additional luxury-level wine that they will be pouring for the Reserve Level only. General Admission event hours are included in the Reserve Level ticket. Even more awesome.
